Announcement Of Collaborative Agreement - Pandrol Hand Tools

The UK rail market is supplied with Pandrol hand tools through a number of different distribution routes, and some confusion exists in the market among both buyer and users of tools, which has resulted in documented safety issues arising on sites around the UK.

Pandrol is seeking to assist buyers and site installation teams through a new collaborative agreement with both 'TOOL & STEEL PRODUCTS Ltd' and ' STEL - SPECIALISED TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT Ltd' to eliminate confusion and provide genuine Pandrol components complying with the Pandrol specifications and drawings. The agreement also covers the provision of demonstrations and recommendation of the most suitable tools for particular operations.

All three organisations have agreed to mutual cooperation in the design, manufacture, supply and support the sale of genuine Pandrol hand - tools within the UK to avoid the risks associated with the copies of tools which cannot comply with the rigorous safety standards and specifications.
